Why I Created This…
I’ve spent years fighting myself.
Ticking the boxes. People-pleasing. Exercising. Forcing myself to “think positive.” Clean eating. Strict diets. Trying to fix everything with more doing.
I thought I was fundamentally flawed.
Because no matter what I did, or how hard I tried… I still felt stuck. I still felt empty. I still felt like a failure, always searching for something I could never find.
Eventually, I fell into the darkest hole of my life.
I gave up on myself.
I didn’t want to live.
The shame suffocated me and destroyed every part of my soul.
But somehow, there was still a flicker of hope.
A part of me that kept trying. Kept showing up.
Even when I felt physically sick with fear.
Even when I thought I was broken.
I didn’t give up.
I spent years in the cycle, starting over every Monday, and then collapsing under the pressure when life got real.
I knew all the “right” things to do… but my body still felt heavy, my mind still restless, my emotions still all over the place.
It wasn’t until I understood my nervous system, and stopped trying to force change from a place of shame, that everything shifted.
When I realised there was nothing wrong with me, I’d just been taught the wrong way.
These days? I can actually breathe.
I can sit with myself without spiralling.
I can move my body with joy and honour where it’s at without feeling like a failure.
I can eat without guilt, rest without shame, and live without constantly bracing for the next collapse.
I am healthy. I am confident. And I accept all parts of myself.
I feel safe in my own skin. Present with my family. Proud of who I am becoming.
I want to live. I want to live my most beautiful life filled with the most beautiful people. I am living it. And I am so grateful I didn’t give up.
